Rom can only be read by computer
The contents of the chips are not lost when the power is switched off.
The rom is non volotite
Ram
Ram can be both read and written by the computer
Contents are lost when the power is switched off.
Ram is volotite.
There are many types of storage devices these are
Optical media such as DVD
Electronic media such as Pen Drives
DVD and CD
DVD stands for digital versatile disk
A DVD can store more data than the CD can do as the DVD can store information on two levels, in smaller pits and somethimes on both two levels
A CD is similar to DVd but it can store less data than DVD.
